Ms Vivian Wong has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Linguistics from NUS and a graduate diploma in education (PE) from the National Institute of Education. Ms Sim Yi Hui graduated with a Honours degree in Sociology from the National University of Singapore. Prior to joining the Raffles Institute for Experiential Learning, Yihui worked as an outdoor and adventure senior executive at the YMCA of Singapore and was involved in the planning and organization of overseas adventure trips to countries like Malaysia, Nepal, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan. Mr Daniel Goh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Outdoor Education from Latrobe University, Australia. As an outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys being in the natural environment engaging in activities such as rock climbing and white water paddling. Through his experiences in the outdoors, Daniel has come to form meaningful connections with the outdoors. He has also developed a personal interest to help others to discover and learn more about themselves and the natural environment through meaningful and purposeful outdoor experiences. Ms Aileen Li graduated from NUS with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Sociology. Fresh out of university, she plunged head long right into an adventure travel company specialising in overseas adventure camps and trekking expeditions. It was here that she spent the next decade planning, leading and managing these overseas excursions, many of them for schools and institutions across Singapore. Mr Muhammad Imran graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Chemistry. Prior to joining Raffles Institute for Experiential Learning, he had been a Chemistry teacher for 5 years. Imran’s introduction to the outdoors was accidental; being told that he would climb Mount Kinabalu as part of an Outward Bound Sabah course, at the age of 15. Nevertheless, it was to be the start of a long and happy relationship, continuing his experiences and learning in the outdoors throughout his school and working life. Ms Chew Yien graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2005, with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology and Sociology. A strong believer in character development, she decided to join Outward Bound Singapore (OBS) as an instructor after graduation. During her 3 years in OBS, she facilitated many participants in their learning processes in the outdoor environment and guided them in the journey of self-discovery.
