Ms Sim Yi Hui

Yihui graduated with a Honours degree in Sociology from the National University of Singapore. Prior to joining the Raffles Institute for Experiential Learning, Yihui worked as an outdoor and adventure senior executive at the YMCA of Singapore and was involved in the planning and organization of overseas adventure trips to countries like Malaysia, Nepal, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan.

Yihui is passionate about using the outdoors as a platform for character development and leadership. She relishes using various unique opportunities in sharing experiences with people, nurturing their interests and drawing out the best from each individual she comes across.

As the founding member and co-leader of the Singapore Women's Everest Team, she has also acquired the following skills and experiences:

  • Mount Cho Oyu (8,201m) in Tibet (2007)
  • Advanced Technical Ice-climbing course in Sichuan, China (2008)
